This house was completed with North Eleven Developments and was designed and furnished to sell. The beautiful west coast was our design inspiration - integrating natural materials familiar to the region. The house's plan is open and has two living spaces; a casual area created around the Georgie Award-winning kitchen, and a comfortable, more formal living and dining area flanked by grand entry columns. Cherry hardwood on the entire main floor connects the two areas together, as does the recurring use of rugged basalt stone. Douglas fir was chosen for its warmth and used for the doors, wall paneling and trim. All of these materials  - combined with an overall subdued colour palette  - add calm tranquility to the home, and blend harmoniously with the outside flora and fauna, visible from all rooms.
